The first full time trial of the clubs extensive program got under way in good weather on last Tuesday with 11 riders turning up.
Would it be a change of guard or carrying on as normal? Unfortunately the prologue winner wasn’t racing so it was business as usual with Andy Askwith storming to a win with a 25second advantage from Ben Roberts with last years Hilly Ten winner on the first running Martin Cockeril crossing the line in third place.
This seasons rising stars could be Mark Woodley and Brian Parlane finishing 6th and 7th. The same time trial last year saw Brian finish over three mins slower. Looks like the hard work over the winter on a Tuesday and Thursday night has paid off.
